2015 AP Exam Schedule

Attached is the 2015 AP Exam Schedule. 

Exams are scheduled for Monday May 4, 2015, through May 14, 2015.

The Junior / Senior Prom

will be held Saturday, May 16th, 2015, at the Letort View Community Center at the US Army War College in Carlisle, from 6;30 to 10:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale through May 6th.  Cost is $42 per person/$84 per couple.

Post-Grad Committee Meetings

The Post-Grad Committee meets the 3rd Monday of each month  at 7 pm in  Room # 117 at the High School.  Meeting dates are:  11/17/14, 12/15/14,  01/19/15, 3/16/15, 4/20/15, 5/18/15.  Anyone interested in helping with the Committee or who would like more information is encouraged to attend the meetings.  The Post Grad Event is held following Commencement on Friday, June 5, 2015, at  9:00 pm.  

National Honor Society induction of new members will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium.

The Powder Puff Football game between the Juniors and Seniors will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Football Stadium.

Senior Class Trip to Baltimore

When: June 1, 2014

Time: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Where: Baltimore National Aquarium, Lunch Cruise and Ripley’s Believe it or not Museum

Only seniors who paid the down payment of $30 will be permitted to go on the trip.

14-15 Secondary Chromebook Initiative

The Big Spring School District is launching an exciting new learning opportunity for its secondary students this year.  Every student in grades 6 -12 will be issued a Chromebook for his/her exclusive use throughout high school.  The purpose of this initiative is to fully engage students and create a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity.

Security Camera Installation on District Buses

In the Big Spring School District, we continually strive to ensure the safety and security of our students.  For that reason, the District is in the process of installing security cameras on all district buses.  If your child rides a district bus (to/from school, activity buses, field trips, etc.), he/she may be subject to video recording.  For more information, please contact the District Transportation Coordinator at 717-776-2408.
